Transformation

Sometimes I think about how beautiful it is that creativity has gently transformed me. It wasn’t a loud or forceful transformation—it just gently invited me to slow down, to listen, to feel. It invited me into “the flow.”
There was this quiet unfolding where I could feel that I was connected to something infinitely bigger and full of possibility. This moment was transformative and I’ve lived it over and over and over again. What I am now convinced of deeply is that creating (anything) has the power to transform me and you. However, it can’t be forced, it can’t be demanded, it just has to be allowed.
So then, how do you do it?
Gently, with ease and grace you start making things. It can be something tangible like art and writing or intangible like ideas such as math & science problems. Creating is endless. Whatever your thing is- you can always find a creative component within it.
The real power is in allowing it to gently transform you and spill over into every area of your life. To learn to trust your intuition, fully and go with the flow.
In truth I am still learning how to remain constantly in the flow. It is a practice, a constant remembrance to forsake the pushing and pulling we are taught and to remain in connection with all that is. What gives me hope is that I have experienced again and again how being in alignment makes everything come together in the most beautiful, unorchestrated ways.
Transformation can be dark and even lonely at times, but it is well worth the wings that evolve from it.
Well my friend, here’s to transformation, to the flow up and most importantly to the glow up.
I love you!
Creatively Yours, Myesha
